Rolling hills, pleasant neighborhoods and Richardson schools make the Lake Highlands area popular. Many homes in this area were built in the 1960s and 1970s when I-635 was first completed. Portions of Lake Highlands overlook White Rock Lake, a favorite of cyclists and joggers. Shopping and restaurants are available throughout the area.
