FAR NORTH DALLAS/ADDISON TX
This area of Dallas is diverse in its makeup. Bordered by LBJ Freeway (Highway 635) to the south, Plano TX to the north, Marsh Lane to the west and Coit Road or Richardson, TX to the east.
Encompassed in this area is Addison, Texas; known for its sizable entertainment district. Some of the best know restaurants can be found here. Addison Circle is a newer addition to the landscape housing all manners of outdoor entertainment from art fairs to music festivals. The adjacent Addison Water Tower Theater brings year round live theater to the area. Trendy condos and large apartment communities make living here a fun & entertaining experience.
As you travel east you find yourself in serene residential neighborhoods. Well known parks and Richardson schools feed much of this area, making it a favorite among families.
As with many Dallas areas, shopping also defines Far North Dallas. The most famous is the Galleria Mall with its indoor skating rink and nearby Valley View Mall. |
