North of I-635 are a variety of neighborhoods, some developed during the early 1970s, others new construction. The Galleria and Valley View Center are a few miles north and south on I-635 and a wealth of fine restaurants and other attractions are located throughout the area. Far North Dallas is particularly appealing because students attend highly regarded Richardson ISD.
