Grapevine

Grapevine is a suburb of Fort Worth adjacent to Grapevine Lake and the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. The town took its name from Grape Vine Springs, named for the wild Mustang grapes native to the area. The city is now home to numerous wineries and the Texas Wine and Grape Growers Association, as well as GrapeFest. The Grapevine Vintage Railroad travels along the historic Cotton Belt Route between Grapevine and the Fort Worth Stockyards. The railroad hosts special events like the Great Train Robberies, Day Out with Thomas and North Pole Express. Grapevine draws visitors from around the U.S. with attractions like Grapevine Mills MallGreat Wolf Lodge, and Gaylord Texan, overlooking beautiful Lake Grapevine.
