Highland Park

Highland Park is a unique 2.2 square miles located between the Dallas North Tollway and Highway 75 (North Central Expressway) and is a city itself inside the city of Dallas in Dallas County. Highland Park and University Park (directly adjacent on the west side of Highland Park) comprise the Park Cities. Highland Park Village, the first shopping center of its kind in the United States. It is still a crown jewel for the area. Highland Park has maintained strict zoning ordinances. Known for its quality housing, the town still has many parks running along Turtle Creek and is home to the Dallas Country Club. While Highland Park has its’ own government, police and fire department, it shares Highland Park Independent School District with the adjoining city of University Park and has been award-winning and highly recognized throughout the United States for many years.
